Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is a Central University established in 1996 by an Act of Parliament, located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, the university was created with a special focus on promoting educational opportunities for marginalized communities while maintaining excellence in higher education. The university operates from its Vidya Vihar campus in Raebareli Road, Lucknow, and has established itself as a significant institution for socially inclusive education. BBAU offers programs across multiple disciplines including sciences, social sciences, humanities, law, management, and engineering through its various schools and departments.
