1. Who we are

Gyan.One (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a career-intelligence platform for Indian students, operated by Thrissur MedPG Private Limited with its registered office at Sln, V Enclave, Urban Greens, Kodigehalli — Thindlu Main Rd, Maruthi Layout, Kodigehalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560097, India. 2. Eligibility & accounts

• –You must be at least 16 years old to use Gyan.One. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the platform.
• –You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and account creation. The quality of your career map depends on the accuracy of what you tell us.
• –You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We support Google sign-in via OAuth — your password never touches our servers.
• –One account per person. You may not impersonate others or create accounts on someone else's behalf without their explicit permission.

3. What we provide

• –Free tier — conversational onboarding, one career map, full career outlooks, full institution catalog browse, and a limited shortlist quota. Subject to fair-use limits.
• –Map Pack (Tier 1) — unlimited career-map re-runs for the validity window published on /pricing.
• –Explorer Pack (Tier 2) — unlimited institution profile views, side-by-side compare, and unlimited shortlists for the validity window.
• –Expert Session (Tier 3) — 60-minute 1:1 session with a counsellor, written action plan, and recording.

We may add, change, or remove features. Material changes will be announced through the platform. We do not guarantee continuous availability — see “Service availability” below.

4. AI-generated content & no guarantees

Career outlooks, 10-year forecasts, AI-disruption scores, program recommendations, and map summaries are generated by AI models (including but not limited to Google Gemini and Moonshot Kimi) using publicly available data and our curated catalog. They are informational and educational — not professional advice.

• –We do not guarantee admission, scholarship, employment, salary, ranking, or any specific outcome.
• –College and program data is crawled from official registries (NIRF, AICTE, UGC, AISHE, state portals) and may be incomplete or out of date. Always verify with the institution directly before making a decision.
• –For binding decisions (admissions, fees, eligibility, entrance exams), refer to the official source linked from each entity page.

5. Payments

One-time packs (Map Pack, Explorer Pack, Expert Session) are billed via Razorpay. By purchasing you authorise the charge shown at checkout. We do not store your card details — Razorpay handles payment data per PCI-DSS standards.

Packs are not auto-renewing subscriptions. Validity windows are published on /pricing.

6. Your content & licence to us

You retain ownership of the answers you provide during onboarding. By using Gyan.One you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process this data to generate your career map, surface insights, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data. 7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• –Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• –Scrape, crawl, copy, or otherwise extract bulk data from the platform without our written permission.
• –Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI prompts, models, or data pipelines.
• –Submit content that is defamatory, infringing, obscene, or harmful, including in reviews and free-text fields.
• –Interfere with the platform's operation — including rate- limiting, security, or anti-abuse systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Reviews & community content

Institution reviews are user-submitted and moderated. We may edit or remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines. Reviews represent the views of individual users, not Gyan.One.

9. Intellectual property

The Gyan.One platform, including its design, prompts, agents, aggregated insights, and editorial commentary, is our intellectual property. Underlying institution data is sourced from public registries (NIRF, AICTE, UGC, AISHE) and remains subject to their respective licenses.

You may share individual page links and brief quotations for personal, non-commercial use. Republication or commercial reuse requires written permission.

10. Service availability

We provide Gyan.One on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. We may schedule maintenance windows or suspend the service for security or technical reasons.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Gyan.One, Thrissur MedPG Private Limited, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant pack in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gyan.One from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your breach of these terms or your use of the platform in violation of applicable law.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Gyan.One shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, India.

14. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer can be contacted through the channels listed on the Grievance Officer page.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and applicable law evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
