Who we are

Gyan.One is a career-intelligence platform for Indian students, operated by Thrissur MedPG Private Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) with its registered office at Sln, V Enclave, Urban Greens, Kodigehalli — Thindlu Main Rd, Maruthi Layout, Kodigehalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560097, India. What we collect

• –Account information — when you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address via OAuth. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• –Career map data — the answers you give during the onboarding conversation (interests, academic profile, priorities). This data powers your personalised career map.
• –Saved items — careers and institutions you bookmark in your shortlist.
• –Payment information — if you purchase a pack, payment is processed by Razorpay. We store only the order ID and subscription status — never raw card data.
• –Usage data — page views and interaction events, used to improve the product. We do not sell this data.

How we use your data

• –To generate and display your personalised career map.
• –To save your shortlist and map across devices when you're signed in.
• –To process and verify payments for premium packs.
• –To improve recommendations and forecast models.
• –To send transactional emails (e.g., payment receipts). We do not send marketing email without explicit consent.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the sub-processors needed to run the service:

• –Supabase / PostgreSQL — primary data store (hosted on Railway in India/Singapore region).
• –Google OAuth — sign-in only; we receive your name and email.
• –Razorpay — payment processing; subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy.
• –Google Gemini — the AI model that powers onboarding analysis and forecasting. Conversation data is sent to Gemini for inference; refer to Google's AI data terms for details.

Data retention

We retain your account and career map data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We use no analytics cookies by default.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 14 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
