National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Mohali is India's premier pharmacy institution, established in 1998 under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. Located in the pharmaceutical hub of Mohali, Punjab, NIPER Mohali was the first among seven NIPERs established across India to provide world-class education and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The institute operates as a deemed-to-be university under the UGC Act and is fully funded by the Government of India. NIPER Mohali has consistently been ranked among the top pharmacy institutions in India, achieving 9th rank in NIRF Pharmacy 2024.
