Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences

Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (PBDSUHS), also known as University of Health Sciences Rohtak, is a state university located in Rohtak, Haryana, India. Established in 2008 by the Government of Haryana through an Act of the State Legislature, the university was created to affiliate and regulate medical, dental, nursing, and allied health science colleges across Haryana. Named after Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, the first Chief Minister of Haryana, the university serves as the apex body for health sciences education in the state. It affiliates numerous government and private medical colleges, nursing institutions, and paramedical colleges, overseeing their academic standards, examinations, and curriculum implementation. The university does not directly run most programs but functions primarily as an affiliating and regulatory body for health education institutions across Haryana.
